I’m moving to the area soon from downtown and one main reason was the hights limitation in this area, I like Streetcar buidlings in this neighbourhood, however I was surprised to find out about the 24 stories building? I think we should keep the limit to 12 – 13 like most of the building around

24 stories is pretty tall, but I think that’s fine since it won’t be right on Queen street. Replacing the car dealership with some more useful retail would be great!

I live up the street, and it’ll be nice to increase the foot-traffic for the businesses in and around Broadview/Queen … and maybe even build the demand for a small grocery store. That parcel between the DVP and Broadview already has quite a few mid-rise condos that I’m sure will benefit from the property value bump. Judging by Streetcar’s previous work, I bet it’ll be done tastefully and in a well-integrated streetscape.
