This Isoscope mapping tool has been making the rounds on social media today. We wondered how far you can travel from Riverdale by car, and by foot. We arbitrarily chose Gerrard and Carlaw as our starting point. The lighter blue area shows how far you can travel by car in 10 minutes, and the darker blue area shows how far you can get on your feet. The tool must assume you walk pretty slowly though, because we can definitely walk from Gerrard to the Danforth in under ten minutes.

We wondered how far you can travel on the TTC in that time as well, and we found the Mapnificent tool which lets you see how far you can travel on public transit from any point in a set time. The map below shows how far you can travel in ten minutes on transit from Gerrard and Carlaw.
